Your questions... answered!
1 HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE ME TO QUALIFY?
Dependant on your chosen study method and the time available. If a student opts for a mixture of online and intense delivery then this can be as little as 7 weeks or if they prefer to study on a more flexible part time basis then on average 12 weeks. There is no minimum or maximum timeframe for you to complete your studies.
2 HOW MANY HOURS SHOULD I STUDY PER WEEK?
This really depends on how soon the student wants to complete their course. When enrolling students are asked how much time they have to dedicate to their studies and if they have an expected time frame. We will advise on how many hours will be required to achieve the desired outcome.
3 HOW MUCH FACE TO FACE TUITION WILL I RECEIVE?
This is completely dependent upon the student and how much support the tutor feels they may need. We appreciate that not everybody can learn at the same rate or pace as another individual so upon enrolling students meet with their tutor and put together an agreed assessment plan moving forward.
4 HOW LONG DO I HAVE TO WAIT BEFORE I START MY COURSE?
The majority of our courses can be started within 48hrs after enrolling throughout the UK. If you opt for an intense delivery option then you can still start your course within the 48hrs but will be notified of the dates for the intense weeks. As a rule they are normally every 12 weeks
5 DO I HAVE TO PAY FOR MY COURSE IN FULL
All students are given an option of how they wish to pay for the course upon enrolling. Most courses can be put on a payment plan with no interest

We will circulate your CV, set up interviews, prepare for interview & provide business and marketing advice. This is not just limited to when you qualify we will continually offer support to all PTQ students.
7 WHERE DO I MEET MY TUTOR?
We have a number of qualified tutors based throughout the whole of the UK, dependant on your location we will source the nearest venue whether that be one of our corporate partner venues or an independent gym
We have students that are limited by time and work constraints so tutors are happy to also communicate via Skype and email where necessary.
8 WHAT HAPPENS IF I DON’T PASS MY EXAMS?
PTQ offer all students unlimited resits, however it is the tutors responsibility to ensure that they feel that students are ready to sit both practical and theory exams
9 WHEN WILL I RECEIVE MY CERTIFICATE
You will generally receive your certificate when the following has happened. The LAP (learner achievement portfolio) has been completed, handed in and internally verified. On average this will take 6 weeks to be received.
10 WHAT IF I ALREADY HOLD AN INDUSTRY RELATED QUALIFICATION?
Upon enrolling you are asked if you hold any pre requisite qualifications, if the answer is yes then we ask for evidence and refer it to the awarding body to assess whether it grants APL (additional prior Learning). If APL is granted then students can fast track through elements of the course.
